About these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and the tree and garden work we provide. "We", "us" and "our" means Absolute Tree & Garden Services (ABN 96 854 233 773). "You" means the person or organisation engaging us.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Using this website
The information on this website, including the guides and any prices in them, is general. Your quote sets out the work, the price and the timing for your job.
Our work
We provide the tree and garden services described on this website and in your quote. Work depends on our availability, and we may decline a job.
We do our best to start and finish on the agreed day. Weather and other things outside our control can cause delays, and we will let you know and rebook as soon as we can.
Quotes and prices
A quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is given, unless it says otherwise.
The price you pay is the price agreed when you book. If the work changes, or we find something on the day that could not reasonably have been seen when we quoted, we will explain it and agree any extra cost with you before doing that work.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is finished, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, cheque and bank transfer.
Overdue accounts may be charged interest at 2% per month.
Your responsibilities
Please give us safe and reasonable access to the property for the agreed work.
Tell us about any hazards, underground pipes or cables, or anything else that may affect the work.
Council permits or other approvals needed for the work are your responsibility, unless we have agreed in writing to arrange them.
Our workmanship and liability
We carry out our work with due care and skill, to accepted industry standards.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
We hold insurance for our work, and a certificate of currency is available on request.
Cancellations
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the quoted price may apply.
If you are not happy with any part of the work, please tell us within 7 days of the job being finished so we can look at it. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
