Consulting arborist referrals
Arborist report referrals in Crows Nest
Need a written tree assessment for a property in Crows Nest? David can discuss a referral to Aymon at Sydney Arborist Solutions, a separate consulting business. Absolute quotes any pruning or removal separately.

- Their AQF Level 5 consulting arborist
- Reports and tree work arranged separately

Who does what
The report and the tree work are separate
A report assesses the tree and recommends what should happen. It may recommend keeping or protecting the tree, rather than pruning or removal.
Assessment & written report
Sydney Arborist Solutions
We refer report enquiries to Aymon, an AQF Level 5 consulting arborist at Sydney Arborist Solutions. This is a separate business. You agree the assessment, report scope, fee and timeframe directly with them.

Absolute Tree & Garden Services
David can quote the tree work separately once the recommendations and any required approval are clear. Absolute’s free on-site quote is for that work; it does not include a consulting arborist’s report.
Before you arrange an assessment
When might you need a report?
Start with why you need the assessment. If council has requested a report, keep its written requirements so the consultant can quote the right scope.
A protected tree
Council may need an assessment of the tree’s health, condition or risk to consider an application for pruning or removal. A report is not required for every tree job.
Building near trees
A development application may need an arboricultural impact assessment or tree protection advice. Tell the consultant about the proposed work and any trees nearby, including on adjoining land.
A concern about a tree
A consulting arborist can assess a tree’s condition and explain the findings. Discuss whether you need a written report and what it must cover before booking.

Arrange the right assessment
Tell David why you need a report and where the trees are. He can discuss a referral; Sydney Arborist Solutions confirms its own inspection arrangements, report scope, fee and timing directly with you.
Ask David about a report referral in Crows Nest.
Explain why a report is needed
Describe the concern, proposed tree work or building plans and the number of trees involved. A consultant needs this information to identify the right assessment and report scope.
Keep council’s written request
Pass the council requirements and any deadline to the consultant. Agree inspection access, the report scope, fee and timing directly with Sydney Arborist Solutions; an enquiry to Absolute does not book a report.
Council requirements for your tree
Check the requirements for your property and the proposed work before pruning or removal. A quote or arborist report is not permission to start.

Fees & preparation
What will the report cost?
The number of trees, report type, site access and council requirements affect the fee. A basic tree assessment and a development application report involve different work.
Ask the consultant for a written quote covering the inspection, report, any plans or further investigations, and the delivery timeframe. Check whether council follow-up or revisions are included. The report fee is agreed with the consultant, separately from any tree work.

Reviews of Absolute’s tree and garden work
Another tree service mucked me around all morning with quote appointment changes, so I contacted Festus from Absolute Tree and he quoted over the phone his team turned up and both tree stumps were gone before sunset on the same day at a most reasonable cost. Thanks again.

I was a bit apprehensive about hiring a landscaper after hearing a few horror stories, especially picking someone I’d found online—but I’m so glad I went with Absolute Tree and Garden. David was extremely responsive and even shuffled his schedule to squeeze my job in earlier than expected. The team that came out were friendly, efficient, and thorough—exactly what you’d hope for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Absolute Tree and Garden to anyone.

David and the whole crew at Absolute Tree and Garden Services are fantastic. The work is always done very professionally and safely. The crew are very friendly and respectful. I have used them for many years across multiple properties and the service is always the same - consistently good. I like that they will push back if the request is not going to give you the best result which is great. They turn up on time!! Their rates are very reasonable as well. I fully recommend Absolute Tree and Garden Services! Stuart

I could not rate David and his team more highly. They did a first rate job in both my backyard and front yard. Both look fantastic and I could not be happier. David is a genuinely nice guy and very easy to relate and talk to. David’s price was very reasonable for all the work he did and I will definitely be using his services again soon. Highly recommended.

Questions about arborist reports
Does Absolute write arborist reports?
No. We refer report enquiries to Aymon at Sydney Arborist Solutions, a separate business whose consulting arborist holds an AQF Level 5 qualification. Absolute carries out pruning and removal, quoted separately. This enquiry form goes to David at Absolute and does not book a report.
Will a report guarantee permission to remove a tree?
No. The consultant assesses the tree and provides an evidence-based recommendation, which may be to retain or protect it. Council decides the application. A report is not itself permission to carry out the work.
Which report will my council accept?
Requirements depend on your council, property and proposed work. Check the council’s current requirements before booking and pass any written request to the consultant. Some councils specify an AQF Level 5 qualification and particular report contents; development applications can require different information from pruning or removal applications.
How long will the report take?
That depends on the consultant’s availability and the assessment required. Mention any deadline at the first enquiry and agree the timeframe directly with the consultant. Council’s assessment of an application is a separate stage.
Can you help if I already have a report?
Yes. Tell David what work the report recommends and whether any required approval is in place. He can discuss the pruning or removal and arrange a free on-site quote. You do not need to commission another report through us to ask about tree work.
Can I send plans or council documents through this form?
The form accepts optional photos, not PDF documents or plans. Briefly describe the request and any deadline in your message. David can discuss the referral; arrange any documents needed for the assessment directly with the consultant.
